How you set up the rubric on a page depends on the number of dimensions that you have and the number of levels of performance you want to use. Below we have provided several blank frameworks that can be downloaded and filled in with your first rubric.
Developing a useful rubric takes time. As you hand the students the rubric for the first time, go over the dimensions and levels of performance. Listen carefully to their questions and this will help you modify the rubric for the next time so that it communicates your expectations more clearly, quickly and easily.
